Good Morning Mates,
I am looking for a quick simple way to elongate screw holes when I attach a solid-wood top to a piece of furniture.
what would you suggest?

I just stick a nail in 'em and belt 'em with a hammer.
I may not be cheap, but at least I'm rough.

I use my trimmer with the permanently attached 6mm straight solid carbide bit, I've also drilled two holes side by side and pared thru with a chisel.

I would think that a really small chainsaw would do the trick nicely. Further accuracy may be achieved by keeping both eyes open.

Good Evening Friends,
All answers were correct in there own way and Journeyman Mick,
Had the better description of all, of course Bob Wilson had a good idea with the miniature chain saw if you could find one that small.
Thank you for your support.
Respectfully, ;)
