Hello there , i'm John from Scotland Glasgow to be more precise.I was shocked to see that i have been watching and thoroughly enjoying this forum since 2004,how time flies.Anyway i have managed to gather a collection of tools primarily based around the triton workcentre and i hope with the help and assistance of forum members to make something, as all i have managed so far is sawdust. So as i head into the freezing cold garage with the incra ultra lite thingy i got for xmas my imagination if not my ability is running wild.Fingers crossed for some divine intervention and inspiration lol.

G'day John form Scotland. Although this is not your first post I'll welcome you anyway. What have you been up to in the four years since your first post?

Welcome John! :2tsup:
With regard to your proximity to the Arctic Circle, be careful of touching metal tools and machinery with bare hands at this time of year - you don't want to lose any digits to frostbite!

G'Day John,
Two posts in four years? Obviously a man of few words.

You are quite right 2 posts in 4 years is not a lot ,however, the first post was more of a tentative toe in the water,a reply to a question re plans .i have spent most of my time on work, m'cycle ,and on playing with my boys toys in my garage, but now that i have retired early i will hopefully be spending more time in the garage and producing something of wood.i was given the incra ultra lite for xmas and hoping to start out making boxes. At least thats the plan and we all know what happens to plans.A big thank you for your welcome,it's most appreciated and i look forward to becoming an active member of the forum. Many thanks.:2tsup:

I recall that Paisley breeze at Christmas quite vividly. Your garage must be a lot better than outside I trust, or you would be crazy to contemplate such a past-time.
Good luck with it all; I'm tempted to say to start small, but the small simple things have a habit of throwing our shortcomings into stark relief:-
All the best for Hogmanay
