Hello to All. I found this site through a link on a pen turning web site. I am glad for the good fortune.

My name is Steve and have been a casual woodworker for the better part of 30 years. I have made some furniture and discovered the lathe two years ago. In the winter, I do small bowls and pens in the basement. In the summer, it's out in the barn for bigger stuff.

I look forward to exploring this site.

Most of us can translate Seppo Speak because we hear it quite often.:D We have different viewpoints about everything on this site just as we have people from all over the world putting their work and advice here. Ed called it a shed or a barn, there are more not so understandable terms to descriped this subject. For the good order we call it a ''schuur''.
