G'day Guys, I have a commercial espresso machine I will be plumbing into my kitchen and was hoping to share with the dishwasher.
Basically the dishwasher has a shutoff valve and that's it. The espresso machine will have a 350 kpa PLV going in to a filter then the machine. Firstly I was wondering if it necessary to have another shutoff valve for the espresso machine or is it kosher for both to share that line with a Tee?
The second thing was the drain from the dishwasher. It's a standard domestic install for the dishwasher, with the drain going into the trap under the sink. The espresso machine obviously sits on the counter, if a Tee fitting was fitted to the dishwasher drain is there any possibility it have enough pressure to pump back up into the espresso drain? I was thinking of fitting a tee as close to the trap as possible.
Thanks for the help.
Pete
