:Uhow are ye keepin? me names patrick, from ireland. 18 years old, and basically thinkin about becomin a woodwork teacher. its a cushy job here:wink: done a lot of thinkin lately. wonderin what i wanted to do with meself - and ive come to the conclusion that its the only thing that would keep me interested - compared to other fields, i find it very straightforward!

hi ed. i should have elaborated a bit more on it. basically here in ireland, woodwork is a subject in our secondary schools, and if you want to teach it you have to go to college and get a degree. ( 5 years)like what youd be teaching the children in the school wouldnt be too overly complicated, joints etc, but the college itself is a complete woodworking place, from furniture design to restoration they have it.! ive seen some of the stuff that comes out of it, and the quality is grade A!
