Good Day to one and all, my name is Malcolm Eaton ( Mac) residing in Perth, I have been involved in wood butchering from since I first learned woodwork in the last year of primary school in 1945 to this present day.
I served my time as a Carpenter and Joiner in the Shop fitting trade which provided me with a invaluable knowledge in cabinetmaking, carpentry, joinery, glassing and working in metal such as Stainless Steel, Copper, Aluminium and Steel.
Except for my time as a apprentice I have mainly worked in a management roll in
Shop Fitting, Office, Hotel and Bank Fitout, Aluminium Window, and High Rise Aluminium and Glass Curtain Walling.
I am a Registered Builder in Western Australia.
Although I have been retired since 1994 I have tried to keep my hand still tuned into woodbutchering through the odd jobs around the house as well as for the family in house extensions and the odd bit of furniture.
I may have a couple of ideas for for your members such as my home made Band Saw and Sliding Table for my old model mk 3 Trident Work centre.
I have been checking into this web site over a couple of years and thought it is about
time to register my interest.
Regard to all.
