shed door hinges

Hi everyone. I'm looking at hinges to hang 2 shed timber doors 2.200hx1.250w (open out). From what I can gather, strap hinges are probably what I am looking for but these hinges are fitted to the outside of the door which I don't find appealing for security reasons. Is there any reason why I can't put strap hinges on the inside? I know I'm missing something here... Thanks rdheeler
