Re-fridge mechanic/engineer or sparkie to wire up installed air conditioner in Williamstown Area (Melbourne, vic)
Along with a friend on the weekend (who installs air conditioners commercially), I installed a 3 head multi split. I now need a sparkie (or gas fitter who is elec licensed) to wire it up to the mains. Its only a small job is there is already a 32amp circuit only a metre or so away from an old unit.
I rang around this morning; however I'm having trouble getting someone to do the work. Can anyone recommend a decent tradie in the Williamtown (Melbourne Western Suburbs) area, as I will also likely get them to do a few other small jobs while they are out.
Question:
I currently haven't ran wiring from the compressor to the head units. I need a 2.5mm 4 core (3 core + earth). Do people typically use a 3 core + earth or do they use a standard 2 core + earth (A, N & E) with another single core (for the control)? I'm having trouble sourcing the 4 core (3 + earth) cable.
Regards,
