I have to go away on business next week and the girls at work made my accommodation bookings, They have booked me into a Pub with themed rooms my room has a French Provencal theme, I could have had Chinese or some other themes but they thought that I would like the French theme as they thought that I would like the romantic feel to the room.
This set me to thinking, why do these type of things have to have a romantic leaning? Why can't a Pub decorate their rooms as workshops, I would much rather sleep in a Woodworking workshop themed room, it could have a work bench with vices and a selection of tools and some wood shavings.
Other themes could be a Motorcycle workshop, Aviation workshop or Blacksmithing complete with a forge.
What do you think? Ladies included.
What would your themed hotel room be and what would it have in it?
Regards
Phil

1 st choice for me it would be a photographic studio.
2nd an island getaway with the room having a straw hut effect.

A hotel room as a workshop with bench and all? what's the point? I'd be too busy using the workbench and tools :D

Better than trying to figure out the TV channels.
I have been told that the room has a claw footed bath, suppose I could make my own bubbles:D

There are establishments with theme rooms with benches and vices :bns: but then this would go to open slather

Lets start with a bed that doesn't feel like a work bench. :~

Perhaps they're aimed at the ladies, and it seems aimed correctly given that it was booked for you by some.

Yes that would be great. All done up like differant styles of artist. Pollocks room has the canvas on the floor, and paint swirls all over it. No one will want to stay in Vincent Van Gough's (Help!:C How do you spell Gough? Spell check doesn't know.) room though. They might want to stay at Picasso's or Monet's though.:2tsup:
