DJ Jeff's photo's are not showing up just the links :?
They're working fine for me
If you've got something that's not working or showing up, I cannot help you if you don't provide me with any ammunition to see why it's not working for you.
A screenshot shows heaps
What URL are you on?
What Browser are you using?
Have you tried Refreshing the page to see if that fixes the problem?
Also it's best if you put these types of posts in FORUMS INFO, HELP, DISCUSSION & FEEDBACK (http://www.woodworkforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36) rather than hijacking Jeff's thread

I think Wheelin is seeing what I'm seeing, if you click on the picture description you can see the image, but there are no thumbnails.
Explorer 7.

Problems appears to be with the "www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au" URL, can you try it via this URL http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=81641 and let me know if the thumbnails work in that one, you may also need to log on again as well.

Yeh sorry DJ in the middle of scanning and I'm trying to get through doing it so couldn't do screen capture.
I am using Firefox latest, XP latest.
http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/ web site changed from tother one www.woodworkfrums.com.au due to similar hassles also
hope this helps
Thanks Grumpy John for trying :2tsup: looks like IE is the same sort trouble but diferent
Jeff I am sorry I didn't mean to make you go out and take photo's  you were skyting about all your space and a place to put a Mini Lathe.
Glad you did though :2tsup: I'd put it as far away from that cluttered area so you have to walk further to get to it and back agin to get what ever else you need. :p

Hi DJ,
Yeah, I couldn't see the images of the thumbnails on the first URL either, but everything appears ok when I switch to the second URL.
Cheers:2tsup:

I often have trouble with viewing the photos. I used to use the ...ubeaut.com.au URL, so changed to the ..com.au only URL and it solved those I couldn't see, but then I couldn't see those where members had posted on ...ubeaut.com.au. Similarly for the ...com only sites.
It would appear as though you can only see the ones where members have posted under the same URL you are logged under (although you usually can see the thumbnails that can be clicked on to view the larger image).
If this is correct, is there any way to be logged on to all the different URLs at the same time?

That is basically right Neil
Yes you can be logged onto all the URL's, I am most of the time, just log on wherever the need to arises and don't clear your cookies or log out

Ticking "Remember Me" at login usually marries the login to all URLs here. And, contrary to the logout notification, logging out does not seem to remove ALL cookies. When browsing without login, I still get the notification "The following threads have not been ..." at some point in "Today's Posts."
To make matters worse (only slightly), a Google search for some topics may bring the same thread by different references in both url's. With all the options in VBulletin, this might just be an "undocumented feature." There's a VBulletin forum for VBulletin itself. The answer might be there. Or might not. YMMV.
[The pictures are there for me, BTW.]

Thanks DJ.
I can be logged on to the different URL's, but they are still on sepparate screens or windows, so I still have the same problem on any one window (or URL).
I was wondering if it was possible to be effectively logged into all the differnet URL's at the same time within the same window?
If not, are there any future plans to consolidate the forum to just one URL?
Cheers

I think you'll find that once you've logged yourself on to all the URLs, the problem will go away, regardless of which window or screen you're on. It works for me
As for plans to consolidate the forum to just the one URL,
Hopefully this post (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showpost.php?p=590685&postcount=20) by Neil from this thread (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=49328) will explain why

Thanks DJ, I'm now logged into the other 2 in the background, and it seems to work on this one :2tsup: Not sure why, but I thought I tried that the other day and it didn't work, weird :?. I'll just log onto all three from now on with 2 in the background.

So have we a fix for the photo thing yet ???
This morning logged into http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au where this thread originated or I was logged into and where my e-mail notification was from  but it took me to www.woodworkforums.com.au so I had to log in yet again.:?
So how s that happening or does the server decide where/which one the thread is placed under :-

Ray, the only thing that makes even a wee bit of sense for my successful experience, is that I log in from the root (home) page, which is my Bookmark, and tick "Remember me." Logging in from a sub-forum, or a thread, might not unify the login.
Duplicate hits from Google also suggest duplicate entries in more than one database - as if I knew anything at all about it!:-
