I have been reading 'The Brain That Changes Itself be Norman Doridge" it talks about how with training, the brain can rewire itself and that it is plastic in nature. In one section it talks about the power of imagination, and how they used a test group to prove it. They showed a group of people a routine on the piano, and then had half practise the routine and the other half sit at the keyboard and imagine that they were practising. At the end of a few weeks they found that the group that imagined that they were playing the practise piece could play it as well as the group that practised.

This got me thinking if I imagined that I was at work is this the same as being there?? :?
