Hi Aralt
Welcome Fellow Wood Warrior :2tsup::D
No, I haven't cricked my neck, but when someone and I were driving to a Forum GTG earlier in the year, we both got very sidetracked by this humungous log set up for display in a park, then we looked back at the road and Oh Crap!!!!!!!! there's a corner very close ahead!!!!! :D:D:B I don't think I'll ever forget seeing that log. Now that's what I call a garden ornament :U
cheers

Boy - we seriously need to get a life:-
Took Houston out and about a little yesterday for some bowl blanks and while driving around the Mt Cootha drive we confessed that looking at the trees with the objective of identifying the burls, crotches and size of the ones we'd like to get our hands on was probably not socially responsible.
What happened to driving round Surfers with rather similar objectives directed at those nubile scantily dressed honey hearted things:oo:
Sad really:C

Not sure what a Shopsmith is. Am looking at the Hammer or Felder BF5 though now I am thinking that the changing time from one use to the other might annoy me too much.
Not being a patient type.

Oh, your going for a real combo tool!:2tsup:
A Shopsmith is a five in one, light to medium duty machine.
