G'Day all

Hi I'm a new member.......... what a great site!

I need your advice.

I have Shopsmith 10E serial number 157.
It is in reasonable to good condition sitting in a garage doing nothing, does anyone know if this would be worth anything or should I just throw it out, the missus is on my back about it and wants to actually put car in the garage! :o How rude!
Happy for any feedback.

Cheers

Wombat

Hi Wombat...don't be too hasty on throwing the 10ER away. If nothing else it makes a great disc sander.

That's pretty much my Shopsmith is relegated to...disc sanding, and on occasion I'll pop a buffing wheel on.

I have a Mk V, it is just used as a saw bench now.

I'd come and pick it up. I like them. If only you were a bit closer.

If it 'goes' and has all its pieces, then there is always a market for them, you just have to figure out a price - EBay is one possibility to get some estimates of what you could sell it for, but things do go for crazy amounts on EBay .

Every few months someone will post hereabouts about getting one. They are no longer imported to Oz & the current US model is the Mk.V.
