I've voted for Obama once already (NY primary) and will do so again for sure. I might hand in my citizenship if we end up with McCain/Palin. Pallin? Pallin comparison perhaps....

McCain has had 4 melanomas removed already. This guy is more likely to die in office than anyone in recent memory...so how do you feel about Ms Palin running the free world? After all, she got a passport for the first time last year! No joke. This is scary.

Finally, my two cents: Obama has been accused of 'elitism'. I have to wonder why it is that Americans (and Aussies alike) laud and extol "elite" atheletes, elite scientist, elite musicians and so on....but when it comes to the person who has the nuclear codes, they want someone who they would feel comfortable having a beer with? Jeeeeeeez. Give me the "elite" diplomat/politician anytime.

Quebec. Isn't that where they speak French. :oo:

That would be enough to call it a no deal.

Yar. But we could cure 'em of that nasty habit, which the Canucks have been unable to do. Anyway, most Canadians would be glad to be shed of it and we would have a new place for all of our illegal immigrants to infiltrate.:D

You all can't have Quebec. N'est ce pas on my watch you can't.:p

This election makes me queasy. If I was an American I'd be voting O'bama to be sure. I kinda like people more than money though, which explains my bias.

Seeing as I am an auslander, I hope they elect McCain (and Palin is indicted before the election and has to take a rain check.). (The world deserves better than some bad Disney plot about the mom next door becoming President. I mean I know that being smart is uncool and all that, but jeez.)

It may boil down to who do you want as Prez...Palin the local burgermeister or Biden the machine process worker. I don't think that McCain or Obama have a lock on getting through the first term.

Here's one for you: If McCain does win and serves his full term, will Palin automatically get the nod in four years? If so there's another reason to vote against him.

Anyway...with the U.S. about to make Argentina seem like a safe money haven, whoever wins will have his hands tied anyway. There won't be any money at all to implement any programs whatsoever. Not even more tax cuts for the wealthy.
