I got an email yesterday from WWF telling me that I had a new private message but when I go to my inbox, there is no new message for me. The message was in fact sent to me because the contents of the message was included in the email that I received. Is anyone else having this problem.?

Hi John, was it actually a PM notification or is it an email sent by WWF on behalf of the person sending it to you or is it a PM sent via the Renovation Forum and it's in your Inbox over there.
This is what an email Notification looks like;
This is a message from DJ's Timber at Woodwork Forums ( http://www.woodworkforums.com/index.php ). The Woodwork Forums owners cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of the email.
To email DJ's Timber, you can use this online form:
http://www.woodworkforums.com/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=xxxxxxx
And this is the PM Notification;
DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL!

Hi DJ,
Top part is correct. but in the bottom part of the email I received it says...
"To email (Members name here) You can use this online form" followed by a link.
"OR by email (Members email address)"
"This is the message. " and then the message is printed here.
Does this help? Not sure if I made that clear.

Going by that, you've received an email from the person via the WWF and not a PM notification, so that means there will not be a message in your Private Message Inbox.
The email you received will be the only one you'll get. The "You can use this online form" followed by a link." will take you to a blank page from which you can reply to the person that sent you the email.
