A lot of people reckon they can't understand why there is an oil shortage in Australia.
Well, according to me mate there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn't know we was getting low.
The reason for this is purely geographical.
Our oil is located in Bass Strait, South West Queensland, Queensland's shale fields, Canning Basin, Perth Basin and the North-west Continental Shelf.
Our dipsticks are all located in Canberra.
Any questions???
No I didn't think so.
