A mate and I went fishing near Black Rock and
I was using just a 2kg breaking strain line.
I hooked a snapper and was hauling it in and just
got to have a brief look at it when the line snapped.
It weighed exactly 5.3kg ... it would have been the
best snapper I have ever caught.

Thank you to the chaps who asked the
inevitable question of how I knew the weight
when it had dropped off the hook.
Answer: I checked the scales on it's back
in the brief look I had at it.:D
