Just a heads up to all that i am going to Albury tomorrow for the weekend (work trip in the crane truck).
As i have plenty of time, and will be returning to ballarat with an empty truck, i would be available to accept any offers of burls, good redgum logs or vicmark 300/stubby lathes that members would like me to take away/remove for them.
I realise you would probably normally be prepared to pay for a crane truck but on this occasion i am prepared to remove these "unwanted" items free of charge.
Just reply (PM) before 9 pm tonight (friday) with mobile number and i will organise the pickup.:D:D:2tsup::2tsup:
cheers and thanks in advance

I know of a Vicmarc 300 just out of Albury at Kiewa, the guy has been having trouble getting it level but may have got it done now but you might be able to prised it out of his grip :U :q. Now what was his name again, Geoff  nuh that not it, hmm was it Jeffrey  nuh damn it won't come to me now but it's right on the tip of me tongue though  :U

Any scrap bits of good wood up to about 14 metres long or 10 tons would be acceptable. Burls under 3 metres diameter also.
Would be glad to help fellow forumites by removing these pieces also.
Dj try harder with the address of that vicmark 300 pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.:D:D
Cheers

Thanks for nothing Dj I just got back. :D:D:p
Had a great weekend with a mate who has the first farm downstream from the Hume Weir. checked out all the Big reg gums and the dead ones/bits on the ground.
Told him not to let a big rough bearded bloke in with a tray crane truck. Warned him of his inclination to take good redgum logs. :D:D
I lined some up for the next trip on a saturday and the truck will bring back some for ME to slab or mill as i feel like it. The rough bits can be cut up for firewood for mum.
Thaks for the thought Dj :p
