Hi all,

Advice I've read on the 'net suggests I should be able to use my 125mm ROS to achieve a nice finish on my table with Hard Burnishing Oil. Apparently the heat generated by the ROS is necessary for the burnish

(I wouldn't know, this is my first HBO project)

I'm stuck with what grit to use and where to find it. All I can find is max 320 grit, normal paper.

I've read that I should use wet and dry and finer than 320 (like 400,800) but where do I find this stuff? And do I need to go this fine or am I misinformed?:pointlaugh:

G'day Sniper,
I don't know if this will help but the Ebay store toys4theboys_online has 1200 grit 125mm ROS discs on sale - $8 for a pack of 10. I'd put the link here if I knew how. It's the same mob that's selling the Triton Steel Cutters that a lot of forum members have been buying.

Yes, we do have 125 mm diam discs in fine grits. On our online store, we have available up to 400 grit in dry with 8 hole dust extraction, or if you wish to use it wet - we have Micromesh discs with no dust extraction holes starting to 1500 grit (which is equivalent to 600-800 grit normal sandpaper) up to 12000 grit.

We do have in stock 125 mm diam 8 hole dry up to 1200 grit, but have not yet listed these in our online store. If you are interested in these, we can fast-track the listing of them for you.

All of these discs are hook and loop backing.

Let us know.

Hope this helps.

I will when I get his website to work! - thanks for the tip though, looks like he stocks some good papers that will expand my ROS use.
