Many years ago in a far off Galaxy..............no wrong story.
Many years ago I used to live in Ballarat, no no wait, thats not the joke.

Well anyway, I was partnered up with this older bricklayer.
We had this job out of town with no water, so every day Old Dude would cart water from his place in a 44 gall drum with a bung hole on top.
Day after day Old Dude would get to work and syphon out the drum.
About the second week Old Dude seemed to be getting crook, day after day he was crooker and crooker, he actualy looked green.
He wasnt well at all.
Anyway we finished the job off and Old Dude tipped the drum of water off his trailer to empty it, glug, glug out of the bung hole.
Then I said, "whats that!!" out of the bung hole came the remains of a rat, Old Dude started dry reaching, he'd been sucking on the hose for the last 3 weeks to syphon the drum.

Its not a joke, it realy happened, it still makes me feel sick.

I told this story to a mate of mine over the phone, even he started dry reaching.

Bon appatit

Cheers, Pied Piper

A few of my female aquaintances (whom somebody unkindly dubbed "the teabags") usually got together on the weekends for a "cuppa" and a chinwag. The always had it at "J's" place as it was agreed that no one made a cuppa quite like hers. They couldn't work out whether it was her tank water, her tea pot, her technique or all three. Whatever it was her tea had a certain "Je n'est ce pa" (indefinable) sublety. Anyway one weekend while all the ladies were settling in for a really good gossip whilst sipping their tea one of "J's" daughters asked her when she had last cleaned her jug (just learnt a bit about food hygiene in home economics). After being told that it hadfn't ever been cleaned since purchase daughter proceeded to give it a clean. She found a green tree frog skeleton in the jug! These often take up residence in houses up here, most often in the toilet bowl but also in the bathroom or kitchen. It's true, I swear. I even got a box of tea and relabelled it as "green frog tea" as a birthday pressie for her.
