Anyone fitted their own ducted air? NEED SOME CLUES, pitfalls, etc.

No i haven't.

It involves high pressure piping and gas filling, IMHO better leave it to the pros.

Theres probably no reason why you couldn't run the duct through the ceiling and fit the vents as well. That would save money but still I have to agree with the previous comment in getting a pro in.

I have not done the Air con, but I did install central heating several years ago. running the ducting (under the floor) and installing the ducts was the hardest part of the job, I left the "hard" part of installing the heater to the pros.

I even installed the thermostat myself.

Never,never never again!
