I am looking at getting ducted heating installed, under the floor. There isn't much room and therefore ducting will be installed/sqwished between bearers and ground (just enough room). Will this create a problem for either the ducting or termites, etc?

in regards to termite and future inspections,
I ( pest manager) hate them.
cant see anything, cant move around them, cant go over them
Also will block your ventilation if your subfloor is so low

I don't think that any ground moisture would be good for the ducting either - risk of corrosion or mold.

bugsy,
where are you located? I'm after a decent pest inspection company as I'm always surprised how crap most are esp with inspections.
