Hi,
The better half was asking me last night what I thought about buying an infra-red sauna? I said that I hadn't even heard of them, so she showed me some being sold on EBay. I was impressed by the prices but felt that even for just the 2 of us we would need a 4 person one given the small dimensions of a 2 person one - you would not be able to lie down in one of those:(. Up until the past couple of years, I had spent a lot of the previous 20 years spending at least a couple of days a week in either a dry or wet one at various gyms and thouroughly enjoyed using them. I noticed that these infra-red saunas use infra-red radiant energy to directly penetrate the body’s tissues to a depth of over 45mm:o. And our body absorb as much as 93% of the infra-red waves that reach our skin. Safe, effective radiant heat, just like the sun’s smoothing warmth. But I know the sun rays (ultra violet) are not so friendly to our skin.
So has anyone here purchased one who would care to tell me whether they have been happy (or regretted) for having bought it? As well as any additional information/advice you would give a potential buyer of one of these?
Thanking those in advance of their hopefully "positive" or "negative" replies.
Cheers
MH
