Hi All,
I am about to resurface part of our driveway with 20mm crushed granite which was last done with the same stuff about 5 years ago. I've found it to be really good but part of the driveway that slopes down tends to form rutts if we have ridiculously heavy rain which we have probably once a year.
I was wondering whether buying the crushed rock with cement mixed in would stop that. One of the garden supply places said it wasn't worth paying the extra and said to get some bags of cement and rake through before wacking the driveway. Another garden supply place said that buying it pre-mixed or raking it through with cement won't help with the heavy rains anyway and that I'm better off just buying more crushed rock and filling in the rutts when it happens.
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on using either plain crushed rock, or cement stabilised crushed rock.
