4. Hoodwink deal you'd say. (6 letter word)

5. Popularity figures of ordinary seamen. (7 letter word)



These are relatively easy but at least it will make you think a little. I hope.

yes I went with mislead... having "deal" & "lead" using the same letters...& hoodwinked meaning to "mislead"...but can see your reasoning & method...
sometimes having to see where they go into a puzzle makes the difference....
I am a cryptic "freak"....just love them....now my daughter is starting to get hooked into them also....my poor late husband always said " you need to have a warped mine to work them out...."...perhaps that's why I seem to be getting better at them....minds going more nuts every day!!!!! LOL

cheers KEKEMO....need to think of something while I am working with the wood!Trouble is, they are very addictive:) some of the harder ones are too much for me so I just keep to the simple ones.

You need even more of a warped mind to create them. Thank goodness the online ones have a cheat button. (We don't have the paper ones here, except in books.)
