I live in Qld.
It is variously known as The Sunshine State or The Smart State
However more recently it is more akin to a State despair, A state of Incompetence or a State of Confusion.
Which of these makes it the Best State?:D:D:D

I reckon Tasmania is paradise, especially for a woodworker. If it wasn't for the fact that I have elderly parents who need frequent visiting/assistance, I'd be there in a flash.

Never too hot. Lots of great timber. Relatively cheap housing, so you can afford to invest in a workshop. A well developed arts and crafts infrastructure. What more could you want?

I lived in Longreach & Rockhampton while growing up & going to school.

Moved to Brisbane when I left school & then joined the RAAF & trained in electronics.

I covered these ones while in the RAAF.
Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Ipswich.

I lived in these ones after I got out of the RAAF & started work as a Civvie Computer Tech.
Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns & now the Tablelands behind Cairns.

The only reason you've lived in so many states Joe is that they are all so bloody small you can spit across them!:D:D:D

Just a thought: Is Queensland the best state because it runs all year round on real time?

Skew ChiDAMN!!

Fools. It's Vic, of course. Unless I'm on holiday interstate.

'Cos that's where I am - and AFAIK I'm the only entity with actual existence. The rest of you are only electrons on my monitor screen and even that goes away when I shut my eyes...

The best State is the one lucky enough to have ME in it, and right now and for a lot longer it is SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Mind you, the bit with Daddles in it is a tad dodgy.... ;)

I think on average NSW is the best as it has a little of what the other states have to offer. I wouldn't recommend sydney though, get out in the country, mid north coast being about as good as it gets....:q
