Hi all,

Anyone know where I can find a single character fractions font like:

1/2 1/3 5/16 1/8 3/8 5/8
Word has some (that didn't translate here).

I'm hopig to find 11/16 etc...

Barry, I could only find the basic vulgar fractions in Times New Roman, A web search for Vulgar Fraction Fonts was of no use, Sorry.

dafonts (http://www.dafont.com/en/) they have thousands of fonts. Type fractions into their search box at top of page and you will get a number of commercially available fraction fonts. Free Fonts and Typography (http://www.ausmall.com.au/freegraf/resrce6.htm) will link you to lots and lots of font sites.

Cheers - Neil :D

Hi Barry,

I've a ton of fonts on cd at the office. Drop me a line if you're in trouble and I'll dig something out. (Let me know if you need Serif or Sans Serif)

Al.

Hi everyone,

Thanks heaps for the responses.

Had a look thru all your suggetions.

Only a few fractions fonts.
None I liked (looking at the samples).

All wanted money to use.
(Didn't like that either. ;) )

BigAl,
Not in trouble.
Just retyping 12 pages of a project plan that
WoodSmith people were kind enought to scan for me.
But the low quality turned out really blurry.
The single character fractions look better and are easier to read.

So, if you have the time and just happen to remember....
I'll take just about anything (if it looks good and if free).

Barry, I have an OCR program, it turns scans into a document with surprisingly good results.

If you want to send me the scans I will have a go at OCRing them, has to be a whole lot easier than retyping 12 pages.

Click on the profile button to email me.
