Hi all,
I've finally completed my project (well almost)
Please see picture attached. Pond, stackstone and waterproofing all done and just filled it with water and so far so good.
Can I please have some suggestions to where to from here? As much as I'd love some koi's in there I know that my simple filter will not be up to the task of keeping it clean. Also, i've elected to fill water near top and from past experience I know koi's love to jump.
Thinking a few goldfish, some plants (or not), perhaps 3 points along pond length where I can have water sprouting up and some lighting where the water sprouts up to give an illuminated water bubbling effect.
Option 2 would be to put some square terrazo/concrete pots in the water, have water sprouting from there and then overflowing over the pots and then back into the pond.
Option 3 would be have a sculpture (perhaps and nude lying down (floating effect) or standing and making that the highlight of the feature.
I need to do something with the floor, perhaps some large stones or stuff.
As you can see I'm lost with how to finish this project off.
Please help.
Thanks,
Julie
