How do I add a link to a web page when I make a post? Confused of Emerald

Alternative.

If you can open a new tab in your browser, load the page in the new tab, highlight the address in the address box at the top of the screen (where you normally type the address), hold the Ctrl key and type C to make a copy of the address, close the new tab and paste (Ctrl and V) into the post where you want it to be.

Above is address for this post, pasting this way with complex addresses avoids the dislexic amongst us having typo's when we post an address.

copying from the URL and pasting in the thread is an easy way but if you don't have the page open, just type it in or use the link icon.
