Looking at putting timber flooring over a concrete slab in the living areas. I know it quite simple to do with the click clack systems. If you want to use real TNG flooring how do they generally fix it to the slabs as you can not nail as you would with bearers?

G'day.
Direct stick is what you need. Search the forums for Direct stick or look through the flooring sub-forum.

you can also fix sheets of ply down to the slab or battens and then nail ya boards to that conventionally... but you may need to raise your door frames up if needed

Go with the 12mm ply with a moisture barrier then glue and secret nail the boards over the top. Fix the ply with fast drives, about 30 per sheet
