I have been reading the other thread re replying to help given on this site (How do you feel) and agree that courtesy is part of (or should be) this forum.
This prompts me to write up a thought I have had for a new section that the administrators may like to include. Essentially it would be called "What I actually did" or something a lot better than that. The Forum would be the place to post how the problem was actually resolved.

I have seen many threads re issues and problems which have created many creative replies and possible solutions. I think it would be very interesting to actually see/read what advice was actually helpful in the end result or if another route was found. Otherwise we are all left 'hanging' wondering exactly what did happen!

This would be a good way to get feedback to those who helped out too.

I reckon the best place for that type of feedback is in the original thread. It will make it easier to follow if the problem, possible solutions and the actual action taken are all in the one thread.

I put in "what I actually did" at the end of my question post. (I think I only did one. All the rest have been interjections and smarta#$*& comments.) What makes it hard to find relevant posts is the often irrelevant titles.
