Hi,
This is my set of DIY speakers, and first time working with Bubinga:

I've am veneering them with paperbacked quilted bubinga.
Does anyone have ideas of what/how to finish Bubinga?
Is it possible to get the grain to pop, AND give it a piano-like high gloss shine?
I'd love to give a hand rubbed high gloss polyester a go, but no idea what to buy or what equipment I'd need, let alone the application, so it's back to basics for me.
I've previously tried Rustin's Danish Oil, Black Bison Wax, Cabot's Gel Clear.
many thanks,
Thanh.
PS. Any queries about building speakers welcome...
