Sheesh. It's autumn for heaven's sake. February passed by with barely a whimper and we were looking forward to a mild if dry autumn ... and now we've had 10 days straight with the temp over 35C, 40 predicted for today and no relief in sight for the next week.

Methinks I like my airconditioner, which hasn't been used this summer until this week.

And a decent fire down at Willunga - 160 firefighters on the ground and it's still running away.

Scorcher here yesterday but a lovely 26ish today, 40+ just a little inland. Just thought I might rub that in to you city slickers and northern types......

Might be different come winter though.... BRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
