Ok ok, so no one likes getting the brush out and regularly applying some sort of oil to their exterior timber furniture...Well neither do I, its a real pain. Nd its neccessary to keep the expensive stuff looking good instead of a grey anchor. Damn it looks bad when it gets grey. Though five bucks says someone out there will like it.. ;)
So having a kinda spray application past with furniture finishing I thought how can I achieve the same fast even application without wasting time setting the spray equiptment up and running hose's etc. Not to mention cleanup of the equipment & I don't use cheap spray gear so I tend to be fussy on the clean up.
Simple, buy a really cheap atomising spray bottle (the type hair dressers use to wet your hair when cutting - if you have any! ;) ) fill with the oil, in my case Wattyl decking oil. And there you have it a cheap crude spray setup to apply oil to exterior timber. Works a treat too. Saved me heaps of time. And best of all the spray bottle was cheap enough (like $2) just to throw away at the end of it, so no messy clean ups either. Just open the spray bottle and let the residue dry before placing in appropriate waste facilities.........
Oh and did I mention its CORDLESS!!!! Yippee!!!!
Cheers for a good 2004!!
