If you hit the esc key it will stop all animations. Reload the page to restart.

Under Tools- internet options - Advanced - Multimedia, make sure you have 'Play animations in webpages' checked.

Yours does not move.
The gif file is a single page, not a series as required for movement.

Wheelin' It's working for me in firefox.
You might have a cached image on you browser. If you hold the shift key while you hit the reload button you should reload the image.
Cheers

Thanks for advice. :? I have checked my settings and animations is enabled.I reloaded & sadly still no movement.:? When I go to User CP, the Forum avatars are all moving, so as we can't seem to fix my custom one I might just join the crowd with a forum one .Thanks everyone for trying.Regards Aljenit

I'm presuming this http://www.woodworkforums.com/image.php?u=2348&dateline=1204932521 (http://www.woodworkforums.com/member.php?u=2348)is the avatar in question. If so it appears to be only 1 layer, when it should be at least 2 or more layers to work as an animated gif.

Maybe it uploaded wrong.

Does it work for you anywhere else, like in a graphics program, etc?

Thanks Ubeaut. I got rid of the original Calvin & hobbs avatar & replaced it with the one in your post, then when that didn't work I changed a 3rd time & this one seems to be moving. My sign-off smilie doesn't work anymore & I do have smilies activated in my preferences??? as well as animation "ON" in my internet options Advanced settings.

Ah yes, but is it set as a signature and did you check the "Show your signature" box when you posted?

Enable pop-ups on your firewall. If I'm locked down like Fort Knox, nothing moves until I allow pop-ups. This site seems fairly safe in that regard.
