The Bathtub Test
During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director, 'How
do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalised.'
'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
Teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to
empty the bathtub.'
'Oh, I understand,' said the visitor. 'A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'

'No.' said the Director, 'A normal person would pull the plug.

Do you want a bed near the window?'

Reminds me of the time when I visited an old old folks home and a dear little old lady asked me to bring her the bed pan. I asked her indignantly if she knew who I was? and she replied, "no, but if you ask one of the nurses, I am sure they will tell you.

Reminds me of the torchlight test.

To test if the mental patient was cured, the doctor asked the patient "if I turn on the torchlight, can you climb up the light beam?"

The patient said "no way".

Doctor says "whew, you're free to go now".

Patient says, "i knew there was a trick in the question. What if you turned off the torchlight while I was up there!!"

'No.' said the Director, 'A normal person would pull the plug.

Like Hell... I'd tell the Dr. "if you used it, you empty it!" :q
