Saw your post goannadareyou. Just so happens I was in York WA in the weekend at a furniture gallery - beautiful stuff.
The cupboards underneath were timber framed but had miniorb inserts. The toilet doors also had miniorb inserts. Looked really good. Just thought you might be interested.
I have a question if anyone might be able to help.
The vanities and basins in the above loos were made completely of timber. The basin had been hollowed out of a couple of thick pieces of the same timber which were laminated together, so I saw when I opened the door for a lnosey underneath. Was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on how to do this. Maybe carving it out??
Have made a vanity top out of jarrah, was going to put a round porcelain basin in, but have changed my ideas now and want to have a solid timber bowl of jarrah instead. Would also appreciated sugestions on glue to use for laminating, as it would have a lot of water contact. The finished used was a 2 pack marine product I was told.
Thanks for your time
See Ya
