Hi All,
I have a single front terrace in Flemington (Melbourne) built approx 1900's. I would like to repoint bricks all around the property. I am thinking of doing it with lime mortar? I understand it is what they used back then. What is the best way to make/mix it? Any suggestions on where I could source materials (e.g. lime, sand) so that repairs dont stand out too much? Do I need to go to specialist or just local hardware store. Should I worry about hydraulic and non-hydraulic lime?
Many thanks
