Hello Does anyone know where to buy a Pivot Hinge for use on an entrance door preferably Brisbane area.
I know corinthian doors make an all in one pivot door with jam and hinge etc, but i already have my door, and would like to know what allowances i need to make for the hinge.
Thanks for and help.

What's a pivot hinge? Is it like the hinges that used to come on stereo cabinets?

As used on a lot of commercial/shop front doors, there's a pivot set into the top and bottom of the door, just in from the edge the hinge would normally be on and set into sockets in the floor/threshold and ceiling/head. Allows door to open in in both direction and usually spring loaded to be self centering
