What do the different colours and + signs mean? on the user names?

Blue are Mods
Red are Admins
Don't see any + signs on mine. :)

Green are mods as well but with limited powers for a specific forum as shown here (http://www.woodworkforums.com/showgroups.php), and black is for people that have been banned

Red- Admins
Dark blue- Super Mods.
Light blue- Paid advertisers.
Green-Sub forum Mods.
+ is someone you have added as a buddy.

They're not. Just an explanation of different colours. They show up in the member's list, as their posts have not been deleted (for the most part :D ).
