We live in the country and our family loves eggs.
We are surrounded by chicken farms and my wife wants to stay on good terms with them all.
We eat lots, so last weekend, with out much thought from you know who...., I was instructed to go to every farm and collect equal numbers of eggs from each.
I naturally did as I was told, and came back with 1079 eggs!!!!
How many farms did I have to visit and how many eggs from each did I collect?

Greg
ps Wongo..... you have been locked in your workshop for 24 hours..... I'll give you another good one later when you get out

There used to be over 80 chicken farms, but the NSW Govt. has determined that they want the monopoly on egg heads and are closing them down. There are only 13 left.

Wongo....... correct as usual..........
I'm pickling most of them.
I had a real good one on skeleton divisions yesterday for you, but when I typed it in, the format when saved destroyed the dot placement, so that was that.
You can have a day off to do some real work...... Bet you're pleased about that.

Greg of these farms how many are free range, how many battery and how many are vegie eggs :D ??
were they all equal sizes??
of these eggs what percentage were white and brown??
Most importantly had they been stamped with the heart foundation's approval
haven't had pickled eggs since my dad made the last batch prior 1969.

1. None were free.
2. They actually ranged from brown to white, however under new Labor Govt. regulations, colour coding is banned, differentiatuion between brown and white is no longer allowed and they are all 'multi cultured' eggs
3. In terms of size, likewise under new Govt. regulations, differentiation by size will be no longer allowed (a relief to many males), therefore measurement wasn't possible. In future all rulers will be banned. (sorry 'rules', rulers were banned at Federation).
4. Regarding picked eggs, Wongo and I get these all the time from Chinese retaurants, but of the duck variety.
5. Regarding Heart foundation stamping.... These were not fertilised and I hadn't the heart to tell the chickens that their progeny hadn't the possibility of a future, I guess their eating could be deemed heartless.... but they still tasted fine.
