Having completed a few decks in the past one thing seems to be missing from the span tables that i read. Does anybody know of a span table that includes the use of 1 bearer instead of listed to. for example, 2/140 x 45 is what is listed but how do you know if you can get away with 1/ 190 x 45.
If there is such a standards book any help would be greatly appreciated

if its not in the book it needs to be designed by an engineer

The span tables seem to give you alternatives when using unseasoned timber but not for seasoned timber.
For example F8 Seasoned 2400 load @ 2400 continuous span shows 2/190x45.
However with F11 Unseasoned you get the option of 2/125X50 or 175x75 or 225x50.
The other Unseasoned timbers have alternatives too but not the Seasoned varieties.
I guess you're stuck in the land of paying for a structural engineer to specify the timber sizes (who is going to over-specify the size to cover their a$$ anyway) or using a different grade timber that does have alternative timber sizes in the table.
