What is it going to be on? A castle. The epoxy should be fine or Titebond.

castle???????
It's just that I would have thought a 3" thick door would only be found on a castle.

I don't think a set of 4" butt hinges are going to cut it either.

Couldn't help myself - 76"x46"x3" = 1.93mx1.168mx.076mx720kg/cub.m. =123kg (276lb).
That's a solid door!!!! (providing my arithmetic is correct).
