Allan looked up from his office desk at the Wallan Travel Agency and noticed an elderly man and woman looking wistfully at the travel posters in the window and he was filled with the urge to do something to help them.
He went outside and told them that on the age pension, they could never afford to visit the destinations advertised in the window. He said 2007 has been a great year for business and that he wanted to shout them a trip to an expensive resort and that he wouldn't take no for an answer.
Allan ushered the man and woman inside and completed all the paperwork and sent them on their way.
About a month later, the woman came back to the agency and Allan asked her how she enjoyed the trip. She said, "I have come in to thank you. The plane trip was great and the hotel was marvellous. I was treated like royalty."
"There is one think puzzleing me," she said. "Who was the old guy I had to share the room with?"
