Hi,
We thought we had hit the jackpot when we lifted the corners of the carpet to be discovered oiled floorboards only to pull the carpet up that infact it was just a "frame" around the edge. I am now wondering how we are best to proceed do we need to sand the entire floor and start again? and if so am I best to stick to oil or go for an epoxy?
My second issue is that there must have been some squeaky boards and some one has gone hurry curry with screws in one area of the floor. I have managed to get most out but some seem to be stuck fast, I have tried a screw extractor to no avail! Any advice anyone can give me on any of the above wold be greatly appreciated as my fiance is decidedly not handy!
Thanks
Nicole
