Hi guys,
Quick one for you all...
We purchased some timber outdoor furniture from Bunnnings a couple of years ago.
A year ago I gave everything a light sand and restained the furniture with a stain from Bunnings ... but the stain never lasted long and it was almost like the furniture resisted the application somewhat and never was successful. Obviously purchased the wrong stain !
Problem is I have no idea what the timber is on the furniture. Is there a good all round stain I could buy from Bunnings or other that my furniture will like no matter what it is and isn't too difficult or messy to apply?
I remember the last stuff was horrible, the furnture bled orange one day when we accidently left the setting out in the rain. Anyhow your thoughts and advice would be great. The only info I can provide is the table was called a Tuscan, the chairs were Copenhagen and the bench seat called a Brighton Bench. Probably means nothing to you all, sure means nothing to me !!
I'm attempting this on Sunday so your advice before then would be great.
Cheers Everyone, Mr Eddie.
