I get an email from WWF saying I got a message and it contains the message in the email but it tells me if I want to read the original message to log on to WWF but when I did, there was no message. so what has gone wrong?

Stirlo yours could be related to spam filter or server drop out. eg 1st message wasn't received due to drop out of server or similar, second sent, then both received. Just speculation.
munruben - No idea about yours. Did you follow the link in the email to the pm or go straight to your User CP?

Hi Munruben,
I sent you a message yesterday as an email. Maybe I should have PM-ed you instead. I'll try that and see if it works. It was related to the thread about carbatec table saws.

Hi Steve, yes I got the email and the PM so it looks like they have solved the problem. The original PM that I didn't get still hasn't turned up.

Can't quite remember which way I did it but received the PM and email that you sent to test it and it seems to be ok now.
Thanks

Silly question John but are you sure it was a pm you received and not a forum email which looks similar?

I cant find "bushy" any where on the forums and his message seems a bit random.. I would have thought he would have contacted one of the administrators before contacting a random forumite.. added to that, when i hit the link to the online form to repy to him it says that he has specified that he doesnt want to recieve emails..
Is this a legitamate message? is it a scam? I'm not sure.. it just sems a bit strange thats all.
Cheers

Thanks Joe.
Have looked into it and he seems to be genuine in his inquiry, leave it with us and we will sort it.
