Hiagain,

I'll be re-laminating my kitchen benchtop soon, and was wondering if anyone had any tips as to where to find cheap laminate. I have looked into going through the regualr laminate suppliers (laminex, duropal, polytech etc) but would love to know if there is somewhere that I can buy off cuts or cheaper laminate for whatever reason. Have tried ebay, not much there.

I am in Brisbane, and am after a high gloss black granite look.

Thanks :2tsup:

When we need to get hold of a small offcut or extra piece of board or laminate we go to Paramount.
I don't know if they will have the quantity you require but they are worth a try.

Otherwise you could try a local postformer, such as Proform or Benchworx and see if they are willing to sell you some laminate sheet.

Cheers,

If you are redoing a whole bench top won't you at least be needing a quarter sheet thats 1800 x 750 for laminex industries (laminex and formica) Most hardware or building supplies should be able to get it in for you. If you are anywhere near Wynnum I used to find Bayside Discount materials on Bay Terrace good and easy to deal with.
