Hire some bikes down on the foreshore and go for a ride around the bridges (Perth forshore area) if you are feeling extra energetic go up to the new bridge (east of the Causeway) as this allows you to check out the Burswood foreshore and the new developments in East Perth. Plenty of coffee shops along the way so you can take a break.

The new maritime museum and the old one in Freo are well worth a look.

Drive north along the beach from Freo to Hillary's Boat Harbour. Nice drive with plenty of food and beverage stops.

Take a cruise up the Swan to a few of the winerys. Or drive up the Swan valley and visit a few, also is the chocolate factory, breweries and other associated food and beverage joints.

Come up to Kalamunda for the day and do the Bickley wine trail.

Drive around the river through Mosman Park and Peppermint Grove for a squiz.

Fremantle Markets, Subiaco Markets, Victoria Park Cafe Strip.

Or just sit on the beach at Cottesloe until the Freo Doctor comes in then wander over to the pub for a meal and some light refreshments.

Hi Ashore,

What Burnsey said. Freo markets are open from 10:00 am Friday, Saturday and Sunday I think. If you like a spot of history there is the Round House and old Freo Gaol as well. Kings Park above Perth city is worth a wander, great views of the river and city, has a type of tree top walk as well.

Hope you have a great visit.

Cheers
Pops
