Vertical blinds

Hi all, can anyone give me a clue as to how to clean vertical blinds. I can take them off the windows quite easily, but they do need a clean of general household grime.

I opened the window yesterday and threw mine out onto the grass below. Take to tip next weekend :2tsup:

Ok, how I cleaned them at our last rental - lay on grass, hose down, spray with Mr Muscle or Spray and Wipe, whatever, brush with soft broom, hose down, flip over, repeat. Worked quite well.

Mike generally they are cleaned by a commercial company, dunno how they do it tho'

I know this is an old thread but for vertical blinds made from fabric, roll them up and put them into a pillowcase, tie the top and pop them in the washing machine. Hang them to dry whilst still damp then iron them.
